HineHau Breathwork for Wāhine
workshops
Nō Ngāti Porou ki Harataunga, Ngāti Whakaue, Ngāti Pikiao, Ngāti Whakahemo, Tūhourangi.
Shannon Rose is the founder of HineHau, a training institute dedicated to teaching breathwork through a Te Ao Māori lens for wāhine. Since beginning her practice in 2017, she has been part of the early wave of breathwork facilitators sharing this transformative modality in Aotearoa.
Shannon’s approach is both deeply spiritual and deeply human, making the breath accessible as a tool for healing, alignment, and reclamation. Through HineHau (formerly Elevare), she has trained more than 50 practitioners in the BreathWav™ modality.
At the heart of Shannon’s work is a commitment to weaving whakapapa, story, and ceremony into modern practice, creating spaces where wāhine can return to themselves with clarity, confidence, and a strengthened sense of identity.
