This project represents a deeply personal exploration for Charlie, born from a lifelong fascination with tribal music. Drawing not only from his own Maori heritage, but also from the rich tapestry of global ethnic sounds, 1TRIBE↟ is an ambitious fusion of ancestral rhythms and contemporary electronic production.

For years, the intricate and often unconventional rhythms of tribal music have resonated within Charlie's mind, existing outside the conventional boundaries of electronic soundscapes. With 1TRIBE↟, he embarks on a journey to bridge these two seemingly disparate worlds. He's taking on the challenge to combine the raw, earthy power of traditional rhythms with the precision and innovation of modern electronic music.

After 25 years dedicated to honing his craft as a producer, Charlie is tackling this challenge head-on with the experience and skill necessary to execute his vision.
